I see what it means to say, but the downstream pressure can't exceed the supply pressure - if it does, the downstream becomes the supply and vice versa. I am replacing the original mercury thermostats with 2gig z-wave thermostats. The old thermostats only have 2 wires connected, although they have a third wire that is not used.

Dec 03, 2021 · To reduce the water pressure you need to turn off the boiler, let the radiators go cold and then bleed all the radiators that you can. The turn the boiler back on and see where the pressure is. It should never be over 2, that's why your boiler is complaining. Okay that sounds like a good action plan for the morning.

Im aware that 22ml needs to be used from the boiler (combi) and someone said then it could all be in 15ml (to all rads.) But i have read it should be flow and return in 22ml branching off to the rads in 15ml .

Reading all these comments I'm hesitant to install a navien. I was originally going to install a viessmann boiler and a 65gallon holding tank. The reason for the holding tank is so I don't lose water pressure during showers. My house 5400sq. I'm on BC so the winters are not too bad. Has anyone else had any issues with navien.

A couple of years ago I was advised to use some descaler to clean the system as we had bad boiler kettling, prior to this I had renewed the pump after being told that that could have caused the problem, unfortunately it wasn't that.

If the pressure has been dropping over time, some Halstead boilers need the expansion tank to be pressurised with a foot pump annually (from memory to 10psi).
